How to Draw with Charcoal | Hatching, Stippling & Blending methods

In this video from Castle Arts we show you ways to shade and blend using charcoal pencils and sticks from our 40 Piece Premium Quality Drawing Set. For these blending examples we use charcoal pencils in hard, medium and soft, medium compressed charcoal stick, willow sticks, both blenders and kneadable eraser, all contained in the 40 Piece Set.

You can also download an A4 PDF tutorial which guides you through the techniques used. The PDF also includes a pencil outline of the shields used in the video so you can print out and practice as many times as you like.
