Tutorial Length: 7m 0s
In this video from Castle Arts we show you how to draw this Bamburgh Castle view using graphite pencils, a tonal drawing exploring the values of light, technique and blending utilizing different textures, weights, and blending techniques. To draw and shade Bamburgh Castle we use the blue-barrelled pencils in B, 2B, 3B and 4B, paper and twin-tipped blenders, kneadable eraser and sanding block, all contained in the 40 Piece Drawing Set. You can also download an A4 PDF tutorial which guides you through the techniques used in the video. The PDF also includes a pencil sketch outline of the castle so you can print out and practice as many times as you like. Once you've completed your illustration, upload to Instagram using the hashtag #castlearts, we would love to see and share your artwork. Enjoy!
