It has been many years since I last purchased colour pencils and was sceptical as to the quality of what these might be given how competitively priced they are in comparison to the brands you find in traditional art shops. I was so pleasantly surprised though! The leads are soft enough for blending without breaking and the range of colours are fantastic. I especially love the colour test card that came with the set, I have always had to create this myself in the past, it was a really nice touch to have it done for me, and sorted by colour too. The fabric case is good quality and will be really useful for travelling, as much as I like tins they can get dented when used on the move. I’m really happy and will definitely try other products when I need to replace my empties!

Found the pencils easy to use.Excellent colour range and blended well. If I have a fault, it would be that the white pencil should be softer & more creamy ( not the colour) to use. To blend the spice red with the castle white, wasn’t as easy as when I used the prisma white, but that’s the only gripe I have.

So, there is an adage that you can have too much of a good thing. After this arrived I realised that I didn't possibly need 120 pencils. I could have got by with 72.
One gripe, my only gripe, is that the pencils didn't come in order, I had to search for the terracotta, which in my mind should have been with the orange pencils, but was in with the browns - maybe that makes sense to some, but not me. Having an obsessive nature I have had to turn all the pencils round to display their colour name, and will have to take out all 120 and restructure.
And - i genuinely wish I'd bought them in trays, instead of the grippy elastic as its truly a pain getting them out and back in again.
This said, they are beautiful, and the colour vibrant and delicious and i'm glad I made the decision to splash out and spoil myself.

When I initially purchased the set there was an issue but after dealing with customer services the problem was resolved fairly quickly.
The pencils themselves are of good quality and sharpen well to a point, without any breakages. I personally find them slightly harder than Faber-Castell Polychromos but equally as good results can be obtained.
Even though these are considered a budget pencil set I would definitely recommend giving these a go before buying the usual brand named pencil sets that are ludicrously overpriced and often overrated.

Ive only just started colouring so this is all new to me but my experience so far is these pencils are wonderful.
Hardly any pressure is needed, the colours are bright, vivid and full of pigment and they blend so beautifully.

The only downside i would say is the colour selection. I purchased 120 colours and i dont feel there is enough variety. Maybe i would have been better off buying the 72 pack as it looks like theres a large selection that was added to 'pack out' the order

These are a great set of pencils, they blend well and the colour range is fantastic. I have used them in my card making for subtle effects and to add a pop of colour, and the fact they come in their own case is brilliant as it means they are all together in one place. When I initially purchased the set there was an issue but after dealing with customer services the problem was resolved fairly quickly.
The pencils themselves are of good quality and sharpen well to a point, without any breakages. I personally find them slightly harder than Faber-Castell Polychromos but equally as good results can be obtained.
Even though these are considered a budget pencil set I would definitely recommend giving these a go before buying the usual brand named pencil sets that are ludicrously overpriced and often overrated.

Ive only just started colouring so this is all new to me but my experience so far is these pencils are wonderful.
Hardly any pressure is needed, the colours are bright, vivid and full of pigment and they blend so beautifully.

The only downside i would say is the colour selection. I purchased 120 colours and i dont feel there is enough variety. Maybe i would have been better off buying the 72 pack as it looks like theres a large selection that was added to 'pack out' the order

Colouring really helps with my bad mental health so i thought getting some new pencils which would be more suited to adults would be great. They didn't disappoint once a few problems with cracked pencils were sorted. I just messaged customer service with pictures and their service was second to none! Very professional and helpful.
I bow use Castle Art for most of my pictures and will be getting more once I come to the end of the ones I have.
