Found out about your pencils through a review by the Art Gear Guide on YouTube and just knew I had to try them. I bought both a set of Castle Arts Gold pencils and the Pasteltints and they are both wonderful pencils. I created this Macaw using a combination of the Gold and Pasteltint pencils. I would definitely recommend these sets to anyone from beginners to more advanced artist alike as they perform wonderfully and the colours are very pigmented. The tins they come in are beautiful too and the plastic pencil wells are nice and deep, which stops them shifting around in the tins. The information booklets that also come in the tins are really useful as they contain lots of advice and inspiration as well as a colour wheel and colour theory.

Never used the castle art pencils before as I've always used faber castle and prismacolour so I took a gamble and brought the gold castle art ones...was really surprised how good they are beautiful colours and sharpen to a great point....I think they are as good as the top brand pencils that cost over a hundred pounds!!!

a beautiful set of pencil crayons. they feel amazing and glide across the paper like butter.
they make a great addition to my other two 120 tins, as all three tins have colours that arent found within the other tins.
if you like the premium or watercolour sets, then you'll love this set more!
